Joshua Kimball currently leads the Data Platform and AI Research Group at Dolby Laboratories in its growing Atlanta office. Prior to this, he was the Head of Data Platform and Data Science at startup "unicorn," Calendly and has held similar roles in verticals spanning advertising technology, institutional banking, and educational non-profits.

He completed his PhD and MSCS at Georgia Institute of Technology and BS at Carnegie Mellon University. He and Dena, and their two girls, Nadia and Nessa, reside in Inman Park in Atlanta, GA. He loves spending time outdoors with his family and giving back by serving on several non-profit boards.
