Georgia Tech CS major shares her resume with industry rep at career fair

Career Services Site is 'All CS, All the Time'

Computing students can now access professional development resources tailored to computer science (CS) and computational media (CM) students.

The revamped College of Computing Career Services website offers an extensive toolkit to help students prepare for careers in artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, game design, robotics, or other tech fields.

"Our new career services site is all CS, all the time," said Paul Fowler, College of Computing Career Services director.

Fowler led the website overhaul. He said the College's updated career services site complements campus-wide career resources and provides content, advice, and highly relevant tools to Computing students.

This close connection with the material ensures that CS and CM students are well-equipped with the knowledge needed to succeed in today's competitive tech job market.

"Now, along with existing campus-wide resources, CS and CM students have professional development resources tailored to meet their needs and guide them toward success in their chosen fields.

"As an example, all the sample resumes are CS resumes. All the job and internship resources are just for students interested in tech and applied technology," said Fowler.

The updated College of Computing Career Services website allows students to register for career fairs, schedule appointments with career services advisors, and connect with professional development workshops.

"I encourage all Computing students to explore and take full advantage of the site,” Fowler said.
