Appointments Highlight Positive Social Impact of Faculty Members' Research
The Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems (BBISS) recently appointed 4 College of Computing faculty members as BBISS Faculty Fellows.
The faculty members are among 11 BBISS fellowship appointments announced on Oct. 31 and represent the schools of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer Science (SCS), and Interactive Computing (IC). They are:
- CSE Assistant Professor Peng Chen
- SCS Assistant Professor Ashutosh Dhekne
- IC Associate Professor Neha Kumar
The fellowships recognize the positive social impact of each faculty member's research efforts. As BBISS Faculty Fellows, Chen, Dhekne, and Kumar will advise BBISS leadership, support Georgia Tech's sustainability research community
The trio joins the current BBISS cohort, which includes IC Assistant Professor Jessica Roberts.
